Description
Schönes, expressives Beispiel für den frühen Zeichenstil des Künstlers. Bereits hier spielt die Darstellung des Modells eine untergeordnete Rolle, wichtig ist die Frage der Organisation der Bildfläche, aber auch der Umsetzung von psychischer Energie. So wird der Akt, der vielleicht neben einem Lager steht, von körperlich wirkendem Schwarz umgeben, das nach seinen Konturen zu greifen scheint und auch das Antlitz der Frau verhüllt. Ein intensiverer Austausch von Figur und Raum ist kaum denkbar. – Im Passepartoutausschnitt leicht gebräunt. Am unteren Rand mit Bleistiftnotizen für die Passepartourierung, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
