Nana mode (Nana Golden Turban). Painted polyester. Hight c. 38 cm. From a numbered edition of 25 copies. On the undersite stamped with the artist’s signature and with the foundry mark “Plastiques d’Art R. Haligon”.
Description
Ab 1964 formte Niki de Saint Phalle die drallen und bunten “Nana”-Figuren, die sehr populär wurden und die Künstlerin international bekannt machten. Mit diesen abstrahierten, verspielten, fröhlichbunt bemalten Figuren mit sehr weiblichen Formen setzt sich Niki de Saint Phalle mit der Rolle der Frau auseinander. – Am Rocksaum ganz leicht angestaubt. Mit einer winzigen Farbabsplitterung im Bereich des Rocksaumes hinten und kleinen hellen Fleckchen im Bereich des Rückens, sonst von schönem Gesamteindruck.
