Description
Schöne klassizistische Zeichnung, die wohl die Opferungsszene der Iphigenie zum Bildthema hat. Goethe schrieb die Prosafassung seines Dramas “Iphigenie auf Tauris” im selben Jahr. Verso mit einer figürlichen Bleiststiftskizze von gleicher Hand. An der linken oberen Ecke alt auf Untersatzbogen aufgelegt. Dort handschriftlich bezeichnet “Zu einem musikalischen Gedicht, Chora genannt, (…)”. – Ca. 1 cm langer Einriss am linken Rand unten. Am oberen Rand mit einzelnen Braunfleckchen, ansonsten schön.
