Description
Auch hier ersetzt das im Alltag gebräuchliche Tischtuch wieder die Leinwand. Auf Text verzichtet der Künstler. Minimalistisch streng umreißt er zwei Rechtecke. Die Arbeit ist während eines Aufenthalts in Innsbruck entstanden. Der Ausstellungskatalog “Martin Kippenberger in Tirol” zeigt den Künstler an einem Tisch sitzend, während er seine Finger an der Tischkante abputzt. Auch das eine Provokation? Der Rebell missbraucht das bürgerliche Tischtuch, um seine Hände daran zu reinigen?
Die Authentizität wurde von Frau Gisela Capitain (Köln) per E-Mail im September 2009 bestätigt. – Die Arbeit in sehr gutem Originalzustand.
