Eine der drei Jagdhundstudien, auf bräunlich grundiertem Papier, wurde voll ausgeführt, die anderen bleiben skizzenhaft. Frühes Werk, der in den 1790er Jahren entstandenen Tier- und Jagdbilder.
Obere linke Papierecke etwas beschädigt und einzelne Fehlstellen im Blatt, sonst in gutem und farbfrischem Zustand.
