Sicher und rasch erfasste Landschaftsstudie, die den Blick über einen breiten Waldweg hinweg nach rechts in die Ferne zieht. Müller, dessen Zeichnungen und Illustrationen von Goethe sehr gelobt wurden, hatte seine Ausbildung an der Mannheimer Kunstakademie erhalten und verbrachte den Großteil seiner künstlerischen Laufbahn in Rom. – Horizontale, nicht störende Quetschfalte am oberen Rand, sonst sehr schön.
