Großformatige, ins Monumentale gesteigerte Arbeit von transparenter Leuchtkraft. Das Licht scheint aus dem Innern des Straußes hervorzustrahlen und lädt das Motiv mit rhythmischer Spannung auf. Doch wird es durch die auf einen Farbton beschränkte Palette mit großer formaler Sicherheit in den Bildraum eingebunden. – Mit mehreren kleinen Reißnagellöchlein am rechten und linken Rand oben. Verso mit Montageresten in den Ecken und Atelierspuren. Von schöner Erhaltung.
