Die Puppe ist seit seinen ersten malerischen Anfängen ein immer wiederkehrendes Bildmotiv von Prem, auch für plastische Gestaltungen. Hier ist die Puppe eine Symbiose mit einer puppenhaften spanischen Schönen eingegangen, die, angetan mit der schwarzen Mantilla, in fast unheimlicher, maskenhafter Weise von einem Balkon herunterlächelt. Zwei winzige Löchlein und ein ca. 3,5 cm langer horizontaler Riss in der unteren Bildhälfte. Rahmungsbedingte Bereibungen und etwas angeschmutzt.
Provenienz: Privatsammlung, Österreich (direkt beim Künstler erworben).
