Capricorn. Bronze with a black-brown patina. (1935). C. 4.5 : 7 : 2.5 cm. From an edition of 18 casts (plus 10 estate casts). Stamped on the belly with the artist’s mark (incised monogram). Delicate little capricorn, after a woodcarving.

Graziles, zartgliedriges Böcklein, entstanden nach einer Holzschnitzerei. Wohl den Lebzeitgüssen von 1950 zuzuordnen, die man laut Schilling an ihrer schwarz-blauen Patina erkennt. Die Patina teils ins Grünliche oxidiert, vereinzelt etwas unregelmäßig; eine kleine Aussparung am Hinterteil; sonst gut.
