Series of five drypoint etchings with aquatint on wove. (1987). Up to c. 30 x 22 cm (sheet size up to c. 64.5 x 48 cm). A numbered copy from an edition of 15 / 20. Signed and dated lower right, titled lower centre.

Description

Herausgegeben von der Edition Gross, München. Vorhanden: “Kabeltisch” – “Strassenbild” – “Hinter Stacheldraht” – “Mutterschiff” – “Engel weben”. – Sehr gut erhalten.
Nach Wien zurückgekehrt, widmete sich Lassnig ab 1980 erneut intensiv der Druckgrafik. 1986/87 schuf sie eine Serie von Schwarz-Weiß-Radierungen, die frei auf frühere surrealistische und erzählerische Arbeiten anspielen. Im Jahr 1988 veröffentlichte die Galerie Barbara Gross die Radierungen, zusammen mit einem Katalog, der die Vielfalt der Motive im druckgrafischen Werk von Maria Lassnig seit 1949 widerspiegelt.
