Description

The complete set in excellent, strong and clear early impressions, with the full text margin and each before the number at lower right, which is added in later impressions. With a fine margin around the borderlines, on three sheets below, trimmed just inside these. – Paper somewhat stained, each with a vertical crease, partially backed due to paper defects, one leaf with a vertical backed tear in the lower edge, overall still good.

Enclosed: Adriaen van der Cabel. Harbour view. Engraving on laid paper. (1550-1705). Approx. 15 x 23 cm (Sheet). Bartsch 14.
