In collector’s mount. – – A tiny brown spot in the sky on the right. In very good condition.
Enclosed: Cornelis Greenwood (attributed) (1708 Rotterdam – Surinam 1736), Sailing ships on a calm sea with the sun setting, black chalk and pencil, grey and brownish wash, on laid paper, 16.3 x 21.8 cm. Inscribed “Greenwood” in an unknown hand verso.
