Inscribed by an unknown hand and with three stamps of the painter’s supply merchant “Farben Schöberl” on the reverse on the stretcher. Provenance: From the artist’s estate.
Description
The centre of the picture is dominated by the lush bouquet of flowers in a simple vase. Behind it, the blue sea opens up to the viewer over a balcony with a southern flair. An impressive example of the artist’s and his wife’s yearning to travel.
