Description

Rohlfs chose a dark green printing ink for this unique example of the woodcut and then overworked the sheet almost entirely with watercolour. The faces and hands are coloured in ochre, the shoes in black and the robes of the individual figures in various shades of blue, brownish-red and a slightly darker ochre.
