Description

Kirchner first began to approach this motif in 1915. The present print was created alongside the paintings “The Women’s Dance” (1915, Gordon 443) and “The Women’s Dance II” (1919/26, Gordon). Kirchner also made a wooden relief in 1919, which is now housed in the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin.
