Description

Fine, even impression of the first depiction of a nude in Dürer’s printed oeuvre, produced in the 15th century. Printed with slight tone and with faintly visible vertical scratches to the right alongside the thistle. With a fine, up to 14 mm wide margin along the plate edge. – A backed tear to the right edge, outside of the depiction. Minor defects to the paper in the upper left edge and lower left corners, otherwise fine.
