Description
Elisabeth von Eicken ist ein bedeutende Landschaftsmalerin der Künstlerkolonie Ahrenhoop. Sie studiert in Paris und ist künstlerisch von der Schule von Barbizon und Alfred Sisley beeinflusst. Von Eicken stellt ab 1894 regelmäßig auf der Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung aus sowie auf zahlreichen Ausstellungen im In- und Ausland. Auch als Kunstgewerblerin ist sie erfolgreich und gewinnt 1940 auf der Weltausstellung in St. Louis/Missouri eine Goldmedaille.
