Description
Den Winter 1921/22 verbringt Schad in München. In dieser Zeit entstehen seine drei ersten und wegweisenden Lithografien: Das Porträt seines Freundes und dadaistischen Schriftstellers Walter Serner sowie die beiden weiblichen Fantasieporträts “Danae” und “Clelia”. Vor allem “Clelia” mit ihrem unergründlichen dunkeläugigen Blick ist ein “Wetterleuchten der Neuen Sachlichkeit” (Günter A. Richter).
