Gouache on cardboard. (Around 1974). Ca. 32 x 29.5 cm. Study in colours for a print produced in the same year (cf. Vasarely II, Neuchâtel 1973, p. 70). The composition is covered by two sheets of tracing paper upon which the publisher has marked the colours beneath with numbers in order to facilitate identification of the various tones. The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Pierre Vasarely, President of the Fondation Vasarely, Aix-en-Provence. This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné.
