Description

Hervorragender, kräftiger Abzug aus: “Livres de Plusieurs Vases de Fleurs” mit der Adresse von N. de Poilly unten links. Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer war bereits zu Lebzeiten für seine dekorative Blumenmalerei berühmt. Er wirkte vor allem an den Ornamenten in Versailles mit und entwarf Werke für die Manufakturen von Gobelin und Beauvais. Breitrandig. – Papier nachgedunkelt und braunfleckig. Mit der charakteristischen Mittelfalz, diese verso verstärkt. Ansonsten in gutem Zustand.
