Description
Der Künstler erhält während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus ein Ausstellungsverbot. Im Jahr 1942 wird er nach Murnau in Oberbayern evakuiert und kommt so in Bekanntschaft mit Gabriele Münter. Die Beschäftigung und die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Werk von Wassily Kandinsky hat in der Folgezeit einen großen Einfluss auf seine Arbeit.
