Description

Ein Unikat aus der Blütezeit der Eat-Art, bei welchem Thomkins spielerisch das Thema Op-Art aufgreift, indem er rautenförmige Salmiakpastillen auf der berüchtigten Teigoblate geometrisch anordnet und mit “op-late” betitelt. Diese Hommage an die Op-Art steckt, wie vom Künstler gewohnt, voller Spieltrieb und Bildwitz: hintergründig, ironisch und mit Tiefgang.
