Description
Als eine der frühesten Vertreterinnen der “Analytischen Malerei” stellt die Künstlerin stets die Reduzierung der Malerei und Farbe in den Vordergrund. Die vorliegende Arbeit gehört zu einer der “Pigment-Painting” Werkreihen. Hier verwendet Hafif eine eigens hergestellte Farbe, die sie selbst aus grob gemahlenen Pigmenten und Leinöl vermischt. Die Farbe erhält somit eine besondere Tiefe und Ausdruckskraft.
