Description
Das Interesse des Malers dieser intimen Szene galt dem Spiel des Verhüllens und Enthüllens. Das von links oben einfallende Licht modelliert sanft den Körper, der Kontrast zwischen der hellen, weichen Haut und den fein gestrichelten Härchen des Pelzes ist reizvoll.
Die Arbeit erinnert an frühe Aktdarstellungen von Franz Rumpler bzw. von Künstlern aus dessen Umfeld an der Wiener Akademie.
