Description
Walter Berndt und Heinrich Zimmermann hatten 1961 vorliegendes, koloristisch reizvolles Werk als “Frühwerk von Justus Sustermans” identifiziert, “in dem man, besonders in den Köpfen der Chorknaben, die Frische flämischer Naturbeobachtung spüren kann”. Diese Zuschreibung wurde jetzt von Sandro Bellesi korrigiert: Er hält es für die Arbeit eines florentinischen Künstlers aus der Mitte des 17. Jhs.
Verso mit Gutachten von Prof. Dr. H. Zimmermann, Berlin, zusätzlich unterschrieben von Dr. Walter Berndt, Tutzing, datiert 23.8.1961.
