Description
Velickovics kraftvoll sensibles Thema des Menschen im Raum ist in der hier vorliegenden Arbeit völlig reduziert. Die grau-schwarze Vieldeutigkeit ist nur durch ein sparsames gelbes Kreuz als farbiges Zeichen dingbar gemacht.
Das kleine Bild ist losgelöst von der großen Leinwand, separat, dennoch bestimmender Teil des Gesamten. Die sich öffnende Hand ist zugleich gebend und nehmend.
Seit 1970 stellt der in Belgrad geborene Künstler vorwiegend Bewegungen männlicher Körper, im Lauf, Sprung und Fall dar.
