Offset in colours on wove. 1991. C. 76 x 53.5 cm (sheetsize ca. 84 x 59.5 cm). Signed and dated at the lower right. After the painting “Betty” dated 1988 (Elger 663-5). Published by Galerie Anthony d’Offay, London on occasion of Gerhard Richters first retrospective 1991 in Great Britain at the Tate Gallery. According to the Tate Gallery the poster was published in an edition of 500, 200 where placarded, 300 where sold in the shop of the museum and only (approx. 50 copies) where signed by the artist during the exhibition opening.

Description

Nach dem Gemälde “Betty” von 1988 (Elger 663-5). Herausgegeben von der Galerie Anthony d’Offay, London anlässlich Gerhard Richters erster Retrospektive 1991 in Großbritannien in der Tate Gallery. Laut der Tate Gallery wurde das Plakat in einer Auflage von 500 gedruckt, 200 davon wurden plakatiert, 300 wurden über den Museumsshop vertrieben und lediglich eine sehr kleine Anzahl (ca. 50 Exemplare) signierte der Künstler am Abend der Ausstellungseröffnung. – Vereinzelt winzige Handhabungsspuren, sonst sehr guter Zustand.
