With 1 etching (Diptychon) by Alberto Giacometti and 1 multiple (lithograph and collage) by Marcel Duchamp. Texts on loose double sheet wove by BFK Rives with deckle edge. One of 111 numbered copies. Signed by the author in the imprint, print supplements signed by the various artists, dated (1) and aditionally numbered (recto and verso). Published by Le Soleil noir (François Di Dio), Paris 1964. Original carboard cover with typographical title verso and recto and on the book spine. In original cardboard slipcase (2 parts) with typographical label on the revese. Overall measurements c. 30 x 24 x 4 cm.

Description

Titel der Giacometti-Radierung bei Lust: “Studio with Annette (Diptych)”; bei Kornfeld: “L’Atelier (partie gauche du diptyque)” (411) und “Annette III (partie droite du diptyque) (412)”. Gedruckt von zwei separaten Platten auf einen mittig gefalzten Doppelbogen, auf Karton kaschiert und verso mit typographischem Titeltext zum Buch. Die Duchamp-Arbeit mit der gedruckten Bezeichnung “pendule al profil” (La pendule de profil). – Graphiken teils mit schwachen Knickspuren und geringfügig bestoßenen Ecken. Textseiten mit vereinzelten minimalen Griffknicken, Umschlag und Schuber mit Bereibungen und Handhabungsspuren. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
