Lithograph in colours on thin cardboard. (1923). C. 14 x 9 cm (sheetsize c. 14.5 x 9.5 cm).
Typographically inscribed on the reverse: “Postkarte, Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar, Ausstellung 1923, Ende Juli – September, Karte 7: Ladislaus Moholy-Nagy” as well as with the blue stamp: “Ausstellung 15. August bis 30. September”. A total of 20 lithographic postcards were printed according to designs by teachers and pupils. The total edition was 240,000, so that each artist assumingly has an edition of c. 1,000 copies.

Description

Verso typographisch bezeichnet “Postkarte, Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar, Ausstellung 1923, Ende Juli – September, Karte 7: Ladislaus Moholy-Nagy” sowie mit dem blauen Stempel: “Ausstellung 15. August bis 30. September”. Es wurden insgesamt 20 verschiedene lithographische Postkarten nach Entwürfen von Lehrern und Schülern gedruckt. Die Gesamtauflage umfasste 240.000 Stück, daher ist je Künstler von einer Auflage mit ungefähr 1.000 Exemplaren auszugehen. – Oberfläche partiell minimal schwach berieben, Blattecken teils geringfügig bestoßen, insgesamt in guter farbfrischer Erhaltung.
