Series of 4 woodcuts in grey, black, red and green on cream machine-made laid paper. 1919/20. Up to c. 46 x 38 cm (sheet up to c. 58 x 45 cm). Probably aside the 30 copies of the later edition in 1966. Signed with the artist’s monogram lower right, inscribed lower left “‘MEZ’ 1919/20” as well as “Blatt 1” to “Blatt 4”.

Description

Schwach lichtrandig im Passepartout gebräunt, obere Blattecken recto mit kleinen Papierausdünnungen von alter Montierung, vereinzelte minimale Anhaftungen bzw. Klebstoffreste an den Blatträndern, geringfügige Griffknicke sowie mit leichten Handhabungs- und Knickspuren, verso umlaufend altes Montierungsband, insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
