Enclosed: idem, 2 sheets: Bombing of Lens, Shelter, Etching with aquatint and drypoint on machine-made laid paper, one with watermark “BSB”. (1924). C. 29.5 x 24.5 cm (sheet c. 48 x 35.5 cm) and c. 19.5 x 28.5 cm (sheet c. 35.5 x 48 cm). A copy aside from the edition of 70. With red stamp from Otto Dix Stiftung on the reverse, there signed by Rainer Pfefferkorn: “Dies umseitig abgebildete Werk ist eine eigenhändige Arbeit von Otto Dix”. Both sheets from the series “Der Krieg”.

Description

Aus dem Zyklus “Der Krieg”. – Vereinzelte winzige Fleckchen, unten mittig kleines hinterlegtes Einrisschen, Blattkanten mit minimalen Läsuren, schwache Griffknicke und Knickspuren, verso Montierungsreste an den linken Blattecken, diese leicht nach recto durchscheinend, insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
Beiliegt: Derselbe, 2 Bll.: Lens wird mit Bomben belegt, Unterstand, Radierung mit Aquatinta und Kaltnadel auf Maschinenbütten. (1924). Bis ca. 29,5 x 24,5 cm (Blattgröße ca. 48 x 35,5 cm). Außerhalb der Auflage von 70 Exemplaren. Verso mit dem roten Stempel der Otto Dix Stiftung, dort signiert von Rainer Pfefferkorn: “Dies umseitig abgebildete Werk ist eine eigenhändige Arbeit von Otto Dix”. Beide Blätter aus dem Zyklus “Der Krieg”. Karsch 102 a (von b) und 114 a (von b).
