Description
Mit virtuos lockerem Duktus gemaltes, motiv- und stiltypisches Werk des Künstlers, das sich durch mediterrane Lichtstimmung in leuchtenden Blautönen auszeichnet. 1922 verließ Gorbatov seine russische Heimat, um sich auf Capri und ab 1926 zeitlebens in Berlin niederzulassen. Neben russischen Landschaften wurde er vor allem durch seine Capri-Impressionen bekannt.
