Description
Am Unterrand links mit dem gedruckten Schriftzug “D’Après Marc Chagall – Ch. Sorlier Grav.”. Von Charles Sorlier ausgeführte Interpretation nach einem kleinen Ausschnitt des Entwurfs zu “Die Quellen der Musik”, einem der beiden großen Gemälde für die Metropolitan Opera in New York. Das Plakat entstand anlässlich der Erstaufführung von Mozarts Zauberflöte in der Metropolitan Opera am 19.2.1967, zu der Chagall das Bühnenbild und die Kostüme schuf. Gedruckt von Mourlot, Paris. Herausgegeben von der Metropolitain Opera, New York. – 2 Seiten mit Büttenrand. Minimal gebräunt, auch verso. Am Unterrand minimaler bräunlicher Fleck (Wasserfleck?). Verso am Ober- und Unterrand mit Montageband, dort bräunliche Klebespuren. Sonst in schöner und farbfrischer Erhaltung.
