Description
Alt auf Sammlungsuntersatz mit Zierlinienumrahmung aufgelegt, dort mit alter Zuschreibung an Tintoretto. Die Montierung stammt laut Peter Fuhring aus dem 18. Jh. (England). Sie wird unterschiedlich interpretiert: einerseits wird sie der Sammlung von Richard Houlditch (†) (s. Lugt 2214), andererseits auch Thomas Pelletier für Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester (1697-1759), zugeschrieben. – Vereinzelt minimal stockfleckig, Knickspur in unterer rechter Ecke, ansonsten schön.
