Description
Giovanni Lega war ein italienischer Maler des 19. Jhs., der sich auf das Kopieren italienischer Meister spezialisiert hatte. Die Darstellung folgt dem ovalen, um 1674 datierten Gemälde Carlo Dolcis für die Großherzogin Vittoria della Rovere, heute in der Galeria Palatina im Palazzo Pitti, Florenz (Inv.Nr. Palatina 1912, Nr. 154). Dolcis Gemälde ist im WVZ von F. Baldassari 1995 unter der Nummer 162 publiziert.
