Description
Mit seinem Vater und Lehrer Friedrich Preller d. Ä. unternahm der Künstler 1859-62 eine erste Rom-Reise, zwei Jahre später reiste er erneut dorthin. 1867 ließ er sich in Dresden nieder; seit 1880 war er Professor an der dortigen Akademie. Verso flüchtige Landschaftsstudie in Bleistift. – Im Passepartout-Ausschnitt leicht nachgedunkelt, ansonsten gut erhalten.
