Description
Bei der Ruine handelt es sich um die Überreste des sog. Stadiums, Möglicherweise von der Hand des Utrechter Künstlers Cornelis van Poelenburgh gezeichnet, der sich von 1616 bis 1623 in Rom aufhielt, und dessen lavierte arkadischen Landschaften und Ruinendarstellungen bereits zu Lebzeiten sehr begehrt waren. – Alt aufgelegt. Insgesamt schwach gebräunt.
