Der Kommandant John Young springt in die Luft und salutiert der amerikanischen Flagge. Im Hintergrund die Ultraviolettastronomiekamera, das Mondauto mit der ferngesteuerten Fernsehkamera und die Mondlandefähre (LM) Orion.
