Description
Otto Altenkirch zählt zu den Hauptvertretern der spätimpressionistischen Landschaftsmalerei in Sachsen. Anfang 1920 verlässt er Dresden und lebt nun in dem kleinen Ort Siebenlehn. Hier beginnt seine Hauptschaffensphase als Maler. Aus dieser Zeit stammt wohl auch die vorliegende Arbeit, die den Blick auf eine Birkenlandschaft zeigt.
