Description
Umlaufend mit Einfassungslinie in Feder; links unten alt bezeichnet “Joachim Uijtenwael Fecit”; verso Namenszug von fremder Hand. Wohl Kopie des Peter Wtewael nach dem Vorbild seines Vaters, Joachim Wtewael (oder Uytewael, 1566 – Utrecht – 1638), aus dem Zyklus der allegorischen Historie der Niederlande. Blätter aus diesem Zyklus befinden sich u.a. in der Sammlung der National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa. – Papier leicht nachgedunkelt und mit minimalen Handhabungsspuren, links oben die Spitze der Ecke angesetzt, ansonsten gut.
