Description
Jenny Holzer setzt sich in ihren Leinwandarbeiten mit der politischen Landschaft nach 9/11 auseinander. Dabei bleibt sie ihrem bevorzugtem Medium, der Schrift, treu. Anhand von Textdokumenten u.a. der US-Regierung wie Gefängnisprotokollen, Autopsieberichten von Verstorbenen in Gefangenenlagern oder Schriften zur Be- und Misshandlung von Gefangenen in Guantanamo macht Jenny Holzer darauf aufmerksam, wie sehr wir durch Medien und Politik beeinflusst und manipuliert werden.
