Die an die Brust gelegte Hand ist ein wiederkehrendes Motiv in Stucks Gemälden, etwa in der “Versuchung” (Voss 52/119), der “Verwundeten Amazone” (Voss 265/201) und in “Susanna und die beiden Alten” (Voss 439/36). Sie kann Erschrecken oder Verführung signalisieren. – Etwas braunfleckig, zwei größere Flecken (aus dem Atelier?) rechts außerhalb der Darstellung, sonst gut.
