Dargestellt ist eine Szene aus dem Leben des böhmischen Kirchenreformators Johann Hus, der in seinen Predigten wiederholt die absolute Autorität des Papsttums anzweifelte, was er 1415, unter großer öffentlicher Anteilnahme, mit dem Ketzertod auf dem Scheiterhaufen bezahlte. Verso die Bleistiftstudie eines Kopfes. – Gleichmäßig braunfleckig, vereinzelt winzige Wurmlöchlein.
