Bewegte Komposition aus einem dichten, vom Bildrand angeschnittenen Liniengeflecht in Schwarz über einem in überwiegend Grün-Grau-Tönen gehaltenen Untergrund. “…die immer veränderte, unberechenbar neue Linie lebt sich auf dem Bildviereck mit aller nur vorstellbarer Skurrilität und Wandlungsfähigkeit aus, immer von dem langen Pinsel dirigiert und aus dem Handgelenk eines wahren Florettflechters, also auch aus bemessener Distanz.” (Horst Keller, “Cavael”, München 1984, S. 43).
