Description
Während das vorhergehende Rinderporträt eine Frontalaufnahme ist, porträtiert Kneffel hier das Schaf in Dreiviertel-Ansicht. Es blickt mit seinen gelb-braunen Augen ignorierend an dem Betrachter vorbei und distanziert sich somit von ihm. Die lockige Fellpracht, welche seinen Schafskopf umrandet, ähnelt einem fürstlichen Pelzkragen. Das Schaf erstrahlt somit im feudalen Glanz.
