In wenigen, gedämpften Farben hält Demuth hier einen Mann mit Helm fest. Nur die Nase leuchtet rot aus dem sonst blassen Gesicht. So erhält dieser Mann mit Schlips eine humorvolle Note. Im Schaffen der frühen modernen Künstler Amerikas nahm das Medium Aquarell eine besondere Position ein. Es spiegelte die Schnelligkeit und Schnelllebigkeit der modernen Welt wider und wurde so zum bevorzugten Medium der jungen Generation vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg. – Im Passepartoutausschnitt etwas gebräunt. Allgemein gut.
