Description
Die reizvolle Skizze nimmt ein Motiv auf, das Dahl wiederholt dargestellt hat. Dabei kontrastiert der Künstler den durch Staffage belebten und vom Mondlicht erhellten Vorder- und Mittelgrund mit der dunklen Silhouette der Stadt, in der die markant aufragenden Kirchtürme auf das bewegte Wolkenspiel des Himmels weisen.
