Description
Ausgezeichneter und kräftiger Abzug mit vielen Wischkritzeln und reichem Plattenton. Umlaufend mit ca. 1-2 mm breitem Rändchen. Die Radierung wurde von Bartsch Ribera zugeschrieben, später jedoch von Jonathan Brown angeezweifelt. 1992 schrieb er sie wieder Ribera zu. Der reiche Plattenton vorliegenden Blattes ist nach Brown ein Indikator für frühe Abzüge, bei denen der Künstler die Platte vor dem Druckvorgang nicht rein wischte. – Leicht knitterfaltig und vereinzelt mit Fleckchen, verso an den Rändern mit Leimresten und Montageresten sowie Rötelspuren.
