Der ZERO Künstler Otto Piene gestaltet seinen malerischen Neubeginn mit Feuer. In seinen lichtkinetischen Installationen macht er sich optische Wahrnehmungsphänomene zu Nutzen. Wichtigstes Sinnesorgan zur Wahrnehmung von Lichtreizen ist das Auge. Piene macht es zum Sujet dieser Komposition und verweist anhand des Feuerrings in der Mitte auf Wahrnehmung und Erscheinung zugleich. – Von guter Erhaltung.
