Description
Bei dieser Bildstruktur handelt es sich um den Entwurf für das Werk “2 Linienstrukturen mit 2 Überlagerungen” von 1974. (Vgl. Ausstellungskatalog “F. Morellet”, Museum Würth, 2002, Abb. S. 160/161). Wie bei der großformatigen Leinwand unterliegt die gesamte Bildfläche einem streng geometrischen Aufbau. Morellet ist einzig an planmäßiger Genauigkeit interessiert, jegliche Subjektivität lehnt er ab und findet somit zu seinen Formsystemen.
